Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)

The Abrasive Wheel regulations 1970 have now been replaced by PUWER 1998, which places a greater emphasis on the need for training and widens the scope of those who need to be trained.

With Reference to the British Abrasives Federation. Recommendations made by F E P A – Federation Europeene des Fabricants de produits Abrasifs – Paris.

Certification

Certificate issued on Course completion.

Prices on Application – includes Course Booklet and Course Certification / ID.

(Minimum number 4 – Individual at special price).

It is a requirement of Health and Safety at Work Regulations that all persons who use and change Abrasive Wheels must be trained in accordance with the regulations. This covers the responsibility of the employer to insure employee’s are trained.

Approximately 4 hours depending upon practical requirements.
